Meet Vrinda Deepak Chavan, a 1 year and 9-month-old baby girl currently admitted to B.J. Wadia Hospital for Children, Mumbai. Vrinda is bravely fighting multiple life-threatening conditions. She was diagnosed with acute gastroenteritis, severe immune deficiency, and a previous episode of MRSA sepsis which led to osteomyelitis (a serious bone infection) and complications like acute kidney injury and hypothyroidism.

Recently, Vrinda went into septic shock and was shifted to the intensive care unit where she required oxygen support and NIV RAM for 5 days. She is now in urgent need of long-term IV antibiotics for 6-8 weeks, repeated MRI scans, and blood tests to monitor infection and its progression.

Her family is struggling to manage the high cost of her ongoing treatment and they need your support now more than ever. Every contribution, no matter how small, can help Vrinda get the treatment she needs to survive and recover.
