About the Cause
A newborn baby boy, Nalanda Sagar Shinge, is fighting a difficult battle for life. Born prematurely at just 28 weeks and weighing only 720 grams, he is currently admitted to the NICU and requires intensive medical care, oxygen support, investigations, and continuous monitoring.
Doctors have advised that baby Nalanda will need to remain hospitalized for another 6–7 weeks. The estimated treatment cost is Rs 4.5 lakh to Rs 5 lakh, an amount that is beyond the family's financial capacity.
