2-year-old Nisar Alam is battling a life-threatening blood disorder called Thalassemia Major. His body cannot produce healthy blood and he depends on regular blood transfusions to survive.

Doctors at Narayana Health Hospital have confirmed that his only permanent cure is a Bone Marrow Transplant (BMT).

Nisar’s father is a carpenter, and the family lives in a small village in Bihar. With a very limited income, arranging such a huge amount is impossible for them.

Total estimated treatment cost is around: Rs 45,55,000

This includes pre-transplant evaluations, donor procedures, transplant surgery, medicines, hospital stay, and post-treatment care.
