A 1.5-year-old baby boy, Anvit Amol Shirgave, is courageously battling Acute Myeloid Leukemia, a severe and life-threatening blood cancer. At an age when he should be learning to walk and speak, he is fighting for survival in a hospital bed.
Doctors at Sri Shankara Cancer Hospital have recommended intensive chemotherapy followed by a stem cell transplant as his only hope for recovery. The total cost of this life-saving treatment is approximately Rs 23,00,000, an amount far beyond what his family can afford. Coming from a financially weak background, his parents are struggling every day to continue his treatment.
