Shivansh Bhosale, a boy from Airoli, Thane, is battling a rare and severe genetic disorder called Wiskott-Aldrich Syndrome. This condition weakens his immune system and makes him highly vulnerable to infections and other complications. Doctors at Bai Jerbai Wadia Hospital have recommended an urgent stem cell transplant, which is the only curative treatment for his condition. The cost of the procedure is Rs 29 lakh, an amount far beyond the reach of his father, Tushar Bhosale, who works as a painter and struggles to meet the family's basic needs.
